Draw My Day: Fill in the Blank 10

This free printable daily writing worksheet helps pre-K, kindergarten, and beginning writers reflect on how they felt during their day. Children add the date, draw how they felt today, and then complete the sentence “Today I felt…” with a feeling word or short phrase. They might write that they felt happy, excited, proud, tired, frustrated, surprised, or another emotion that fits their experience.

Combining drawing with a simple sentence starter gives young children more than one way to express their thoughts and feelings. The activity provides approachable practice with emotion vocabulary, personal reflection, handwriting, spelling, and early sentence writing while creating a record of everyday experiences. Use this free kindergarten draw-and-write worksheet for daily journaling, homeschool, morning or end-of-day reflection, social-emotional learning activities, or creating an ongoing picture journal at home.
